Tony Groh has claimed our inaugural $250 first place prize with 41 points. Second place ($110) goes to Andrew Chipman and his 39 points. Richard Saaman claims a $20 prize for finishing in last place with 11 points..
Much of the 2nd half of the 2006 MLB season was led by Tom Volkmann. In fact, Tom took the lead shortly before the All Star break and didn't give up the lead until the final week of the season. He seemed destined to win the pool.
Late charges, however, by the L.A. Angels and the Philadelphia Phillies allowed Tony & Andrew to leap past Tom - who finished in a 3rd place tie with Brian Herman and Eric Jens. That trio finished 1 point short of the money. It was, without doubt, an exciting finish!!
